My Spiritual Background

Meditation, intuition, and the patterns that shape our lives

My work brings together yoga, meditation, intuitive development, and years of studying and teaching spiritual practices. At Horizon House Yoga, these interests come together through classes, teacher training, workshops, private readings, and our Wednesday evening gatherings.

We explore how spiritual teachings relate to the lives we’re actually living: our relationships, habits, choices, and the ways we understand ourselves.

My Berkeley Psychic Institute Foundation

I’m a graduate of the Berkeley Psychic Institute. My training included clairvoyant meditation, spiritual healing, trance mediumship, and working with subtle energy.

That foundation continues to inform my teaching. Grounding cords, creating and releasing roses through visualization, and bringing attention to the center of the head are among the meditation tools I share with students. We practice together, observe our experiences, and develop a relationship with our own intuition.

Archetypal Patterns, Astrology & Numerology

Archetypal patterns invite us to look at the roles we step into and the stories we repeat: how we seek belonging, take responsibility, protect ourselves, or respond to change. Recognizing a pattern gives us something to reflect on and work with in daily life.

Astrology and numerology bring another language of symbols, themes, and cycles into that exploration. Alongside meditation and self-inquiry, they offer different ways to consider our strengths, recurring experiences, and choices.

What Happens on Wednesday Night

Wednesday gatherings begin at 7 p.m. and are available in the studio and by livestream.

Wednesday nights bring spiritual study into conversation and practice. We explore a teaching or theme, ask questions, share observations, and connect what we’re learning with everyday experience. Guided meditation, visualization, and exercises in awareness give us ways to practice the ideas we discuss.

Our conversations might explore the urge to fix everything, the stories we tell ourselves, our relationships, or what it means to stay present when life feels uncertain. The subject changes as our studies unfold. There’s room for reflection, participation, and laughter. Recognizing our habits can be surprisingly funny.

How I Teach

My approach is experiential. We study, meditate, observe, and practice. We can explore consciousness and the subtle body while also noticing how we respond to an ordinary conversation or a familiar frustration.
